Mark Parnis is a professor of Chemistry at Trent University in Peterborough, ON, Canada. A graduate of the University of Toronto in physical inorganic chemistry, he has for many years focussed his research efforts on the spectroscopy, photochemistry and reactions kinetics of organometallic and cationic molecules. More recently he has focussed on the theory of partitioning in environmental contaminant fate determination applications.
